This high profile event is deserved reward for Marple Cricket Club’s huge efforts over the past three years to improve the quality of the ground. New changing facilities, a new kitchen along with a massive ground upgrade, new drainage and a relaid square, make Marple one of Cheshire cricket’s top venues.
Next Sunday, June 3rd June the full Cheshire side will take on Northumberland in two games of T20 cricket. These games are part of the minor counties T20 competition, and with Cheshire having had an excellent start so far in 2018, they will be looking to build on this good beginning. Northumberland are traditionally a strong county, having provided several players, past and present, for the full Durham county side.
The first game starts at 11.00am, and the second at 3.00pm. For spectators, there will be ample parking and refreshments available throughout the day, including teas, coffees, a full bar and food from the menu.
